Riley High School Class of 1960 Classmates:
We’re ready! This is going to be fun! Your Riley High School Class of 1960 50-year reunion will be August 6 and 7, 2010, at the Studebaker National Museum Friday night and at the Gillespie Center in the Hilton Garden Inn on the campus of Saint Mary’s College Saturday night. This is probably our last reunion as a class so we hope you’ll try to make it.
We’ll try to do as much as possible by e-mail so there is an attachment – look for it - which may be helpful.
On Friday night we’ll meet at the Studebaker National Museum, 201 South Chapin Street from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. You may pick up your reunion book at this time ($25 if you ordered one) and we’ll have snacks – finger food. This evening is $20 per person; dress is casual.
Saturday night we’ll have our big party at the Gillespie Center, 53995 Indiana State Route 933, in the Hilton Garden Inn on the campus of Saint Mary’s College (the college hasn’t moved, they’ve just changed the road number; it’s your old Dixie Highway North, or Michigan Street or US 31), from 5:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. We’ll have a buffet dinner and listen to our 50s music. You may dance if you’re able. This evening is $40 each; dress is casual. We’ll have a class picture taken, $12.
Accommodations: You may choose to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, they’re holding a block of ten rooms for us at $109 a night; there is a restaurant, Bistro 933, in this hotel: Hilton Garden Inn South Bend, 53995 Indiana State Route 933, South Bend, IN, 46637, 1-574-232-7700, fax 574-232-7711. Adjacent is the Inn at Saint Mary’s; it doesn’t have the restaurant but offers a free breakfast buffet. Both hotels are at exit 77 off the toll road. Obviously, many other hotels are available.

5. Additional pictures you are willing to share – send copies please as these may not be returned. Label the back with names, locations and approximate dates. No portrait-type pictures here please. If there’s room, we hope to get some of these in the reunion booklet; we’ll also use some for table decorations. An action picture would be fun. Do you have any pictures of your grade school classes? Do you have picture from high school summer vacations? Pictures with you and other classmates would be great. We’d prefer that they’re no large than 4” x 6” unless they are feeder school group pictures. Do you have pictures from previous reunions? Did anyone pick up a camera from the last reunion; we had them on the tables but forgot to collect them after the party.
